Your one-page guide to using the THINK platform!

What is included in THINK?

The THINK platform consists of 4 main items aimed to provide you with latest trends and topics in the industry in a condensed manner.

Courses

THINK courses comprises of short videos that dives into the various topics.

Microcourses

Microcourses are much shorter courses as compared to normal THINK courses. These courses aim to deliver only the most important information in bite-sized pieces that can be easily absorbed on one sitting.

News and Insights

The THINK news and insights database provides you with the latest news in the industry. Our team curates only the most important news of each week and highlights what each of them means for both you and the industry. Skip the thinking as we help you understand what is the impact of the news!

Regulations and Case Studies

Our THINK database includes a comprehensive list of regulations, applications, and case studies of different countries and regulations. Explore how AI regulations is in Europe, or how some of the largest banks are applying AI to their organisation. The database also includes case studies of the different technologies applied in different organisations and how they are applying it internally and externally, as well as reports from top organisations.

Navigating the THINK Platform

CFTE Main Website

To head over to CFTE's main website where you can find out more about CFTE, including our published reports, specialisations and other programmes, simply click on the CFTE logo on the top left of the navigation bar.

Homepage

Simply click on the "Home" button in the navigation bar to head back to the homepage of THINK where you can find the courses, news and insights and regulations and case studies all in the same page.

View All Courses

To view all the courses, you may either head to the homepage or the all courses page. You may navigate to the all courses page through the navigation bar by clicking "Courses".

Knowledge and Insights

To view the database of news, insights, regulations and case studies, click on the "Knowledge and Insights" tab in the navigation bar

Your Profile

To view your profile, click the "Me" button on the top right of the navigation bar, followed by "Profile". Here, you can see your account statistics, all the courses you have enrolled into including your progress for each of them. You can also see what achievements you have been awarded based on actions on the platform! You may also choose to edit your account details by clicking the "edit" button on the page. Here, you can change your name, email, password, and privacy settings.

Account

To view your current subscription service and payment history, click on the "Account" option in the "Me" dropdown. Here you can see your current subscription status and choose whether you would like to change between monthly or yearly subscription or whether you would like to cancel your subscription. You can also check your next billing date here.

THINK Homepage

The THINK homepage upon logging in is your main dashboard page where you will see the latest courses, news and insights. You will only see this page if you are currently on one of the subscription plans.
You will see your student profile summary at the top of the page, which will include the following:

  • Courses – refers to how many courses you are currently enrolled in
  • Hours – represents how many hours you have spent on the platform
  • Certificates – indicates how many certificates you have earned on the platform
  • Messages – indicates whether you have any new unread messages. Click on the box to view all the messages


Below your profile summary, you will see a section that indicates "Welcome back". This feature allows you to resume the last course you had viewed and pick up right where you had left off!

Preview of the latest content

Scrolling down the homepage, you will see the previews of the latest content
Here you will see the 3 main areas of the THINK Platform and the latest content for them.

In the white section, you will see the "In the News" section which will provide you with the latest news. You can scroll left and right using the arrows to brief through the latest news, and click on "View all insights" to view the news and insights database in detail, where you can find more on what they mean for you.

Below that, you will find the latest course and latest regulations and case studies section.

The "Latest Course" section will show you what is the latest course including a brief description and preview of the course. Click on the "View the course now!" button to view the course details, or the "See all courses" button to view all the available courses.

You can also click on the "Latest AI Regulations and Case Studies" tab to switch the tab and view the latest AI regulations and case studies of the tools being used in various organisations.

Click on the corresponding buttons to view the full database.

All Courses

The "All Courses" segment shows you all the courses available as part of the THINK Platform.
Here, you can search for any specific course you want based on the course name in the search bar.

You can also filter the courses, based on which are the most popular courses, or filter by the instructor or any of the course categories.

Each of the course card also shows your progress in the course, and clicking on the course card will bring you to the course page where you can begin / continue your journey.

To load more courses, simply click on the "Load more" button at the bottom.

Micro-courses

Scrolling further down will bring you to the Micro-courses section, similar to the "All Courses" section, but it only shows the micro-courses. The micro-courses are much shorter courses compared to the other courses that brings you the latest topics in a very condensed and bite-sized manner.

Insights and Case Studies Database

Further down the page you will find the insights and case studies database. This database includes all the latest news, regulations, and case studies compiled into a single database. View the full instructions on how to use the database in the section "How to use the Insights and Case Studies Database".

Course Player

The course player is where you will be able to go through either our normal THINK courses or microcourses.

Progress Bar
– on the top left you will find your progress bar for the course

Navigation Menu
– The "Path" section shows you the various components and content of the course. You may jump around the course components by clicking on the respective sections. Do note however that some sections require you to complete the previous sections in order to "unlock" it.

Tick
– A tick on the section in the navigation menu indicates that you have completed the section

Videos
– For video sections, you may adjust the video using the controls on the bottom right when you hover the mouse over the video
  • Subtitles – Enables / Disables the subtitles
  • Video Quality – Changes the quality of the video
  • Speed – Adjust how fast / slow you would like the video to be played
  • Volume – Adjust the volume of the sound
  • Fullscreen – Toggles the fullscreen mode

Next – Click on the "next >" button to mark the section as complete and unlock the next sections

Receiving your Certificate

Upon completing the Quiz / Self-Assessment for each of the courses, you will be able to unlock the certificate for the course. Simply click on "Claim Badge" in the "Receive your Certificate" section to unlock and download or share your certificate.

How to use the Insights and Case Studies Database

The insights and case studies database contains a database of AI applications, global regulations, and reports from industry leaders, as well as the latest news in the fintech industry and how they will impact you.

Under the insights section, you will be able to toggle between the "News and Insights" database as well as the "Regulations and Case Studies" database. Within each database, you can also switch between light and dark view by clicking on the toggle in the top right of the database.

News and Insights

In the news and insights database, you can toggle between gallery view and table view based on your reference.

Hover over each of the items to see what they refer to. For example, hovering over the date indicated will let you know that it indicates the date the news was created.

To view more information on each of the news or insights, simply click on the card and it will open it in full view.

You can also filter, sort, or search items in the database using the functions on the top right.

Regulations and Case Studies

The database for regulations, case studies and applications also has similar features.

There are also 3 pre-filtered views for your convenience, pertaining to the 3 main categories for the database – regulations, applications and reports. It is highly suggested not to remove these filters when refining your search. If you would like, simply add on more filters instead. In case you need to reset the filters, simply click on the "reset" button.

Community

Our THINK platform consists of a community page where you can interact with other users of the platform. Here, you can find different spaces to join, including our WhatsApp space where you can find the invite link to the THINK WhatsApp group for latest updates to the platform!
